Talking about quality is not enough. The secret is in acting, finding new solutions, developing winning strategies. To satisfy the permanently increasing customer requests, but also to give conclusive evidence of what Miroglio is doing, the Textile Division decided to certify its own quality system. The instrument used was the worldwide quality standard known as ISO 9001. This is the most widely known standard at international level that defines a model of management system for quality for every organization, quite apart from the organization's kind and size and from the produced goods. It is therefore not merely a certification of the product but of the actual company organisation (Quality Management System).
The project involves the four large departmental areas:
- spinning
- weaving
- finishing
- paper transfer (Sublitex)
At present the following corporate areas have been certified:
- weaving: Italy - Certitex
- finishing: Miroglio (Italy - Certitex), Ulmia (Germany - TUV), Miroglio Lana (Bulgaria - Lloyd Register)
- transfer paper (Sublitex): Italy - Certitex
